Mike Piscotty has dedicated his professional life to helping others improve their communication. Mike graduated from Notre Dame with a degree in psychology and began his career as a speech pathologist specializing in pediatric care. He continued his education at Memphis State where he received his master’s in audiology. Shortly thereafter, he founded Hearing Specialists, LLC.
Mike’s chosen career path didn’t happen accidentally; rather, it came out of experiences with his own family. He grew up with a deaf brother whom he watched continually succeed, despite the obstacles he had to overcome. It’s through this experience that Mike’s passion and ability to help others developed.
Currently, Mike specializes in providing hearing healthcare to seniors at their homes and in retirement communities.
Dear Special Person,
Many of us look for a professional who will treat us with courtesy and give us an honest opinion. We look for someone who understands what we are experiencing and will give us an answer that makes sense to us. Well, that’s what I found when I talked with Mr. Michael Piscotty, an audiologist who serves the wonderful people of our area.
I have known several hearing aid dealers, but once I met Mr. Piscotty, I knew he could help me. He listened, explained the results, and advised me on my needs. He didn’t even try to sell me the most expensive hearing aid. I have even heard him say to people that they didn’t need a hearing aid when other offices told them they did. Isn’t that admirable?
You have heard all the stories about how they just want to sell you a hearing aid. Why would you want to go there just because they said “Free Hearing Test”? How many of us have postponed getting our hearing aids checked because we feel we will be pressured into buying a new hearing aid. Because Mr. Piscotty is an audiologist, not just a hearing aid dealer, you may consult with him just about your hearing. He takes time to explain your results in a very insightful manner. It’s the way you want to be treated.
He is available every week in our area visiting the senior citizen centers. And even more exceptional, he will visit with you at your home if it is more convenient for you.
I have found him truly valuable in my life. You can place your confidence in him. Even if you already have a hearing aid from somewhere else, stop in and talk with him. Visit him at your local senior center. That reputation alone says a lot for him.
You won’t regret you did. I’m glad I know that he is taking care of my hearing healthcare.
To Whom It May Concern:
I recently became interested in the latest technology in hearing aids, as the ones I was wearing were growing less and less effective. I made an appointment with the most highly recommended audiologist Mike Piscotty. I had been hearing so many favorable things about him at my senior center. His expertise and caring professionalism is far beyond my highest hopes. He spent all the time necessary to ensure that he fine-tuned the instruments to perfection.
I could now hear my wife whisper, the birds singing, and the tires of my car running along the road. When we got home my wife turned on the clothes dryer. Just then, the furnace started running. Before, I couldn’t hear either one of them. Now I could not only hear both, but I could differentiate between the two sounds.
My wife dialed a relative on the telephone and handed it to me. It has been years since I could hear to speak to anyone on the phone. How fortunate I am to have the most knowledgeable and dedicated audiologist I’ve ever known, Mike Piscotty.
This has literally opened up a whole new world for me. I sat down in my recliner and cried. I can hear again!!! I thanked the Lord and thanked Mike.

It was with deep gratitude that I convey my appreciation for your constant and efficient care that you showed my mom over the past few years. We are indebted to you for working so hard with her to accommodate her particular needs. Your tolerance and patience shown on various occasions are standout characteristics that I will not forget.
Thanks to you, she still was able to communicate and be social with family and friends right up to minutes before she left this world. You were personable and caring and made it your business to know your clients. My mom thought so highly of you.
